Black Diamond Orchestra is the creative outlet for Sydney based musician and songwriter, Wayne Wormald and drummer and percussionist, Ben Anderson.

Many talented friends and musicians have contributed to Black Diamond Orchestra over the years, musically and visually.

Andrew Kimberley and Robert “Muzzy” Musgrave were instrumental to the sound of the debut EP “Space”, engineered by Wade Kieghran (Wolf and Cub) and mixed by Scott Horscroft ( the Presets, Sleepy Jackson, Empire of the Sun). Other key contributors have included Sydney ambient musician Michael Trifuvonic, double bassist Valerios Calocerinos, and drummer Brian Donnelly. I’ll be forever grateful to those who have contributed their valuable time, and unique artistry to the music.

Wayne and Ben continue to play live, record, and explore the outer limits of alternative music through collaborations with electronic, jazz and ambient musicians in Sydney and beyond.
